Belorussian Missionaries serving in Nigeria
Since the beginning of this year the main focus of our ministry has been shifted to the deaf ministries. I now spend more time with the deaf brethren than with the hearing ones. Though we are still living in Lagos, I have to drive to and from Abeokuta three times a week.
We had our first couple’s day for the deaf church at Abeokuta on the 14th of February. There were 18 people from our hearing church in Lagos that traveled down to Abeokuta for the special service. In total there were 90 people in attendance. The deaf brethren were so excited, and most invited other deaf couples that are not members of the church. We have two deaf women that are married to deaf Muslims. They are happy that their husbands were able to come for the special service. It was a new experience for the deaf brethren. The folks from Lagos, were happy that they could be such a great blessings to the deaf brethren.

We praise the Lord for the opportunity to be a part of Pensacola Christian College Campus Church’s bi-annual missions conference. We were blessed with the opportunity to teach, participate in Mission Prayer Band and engage many students all through the week. We hope that we were as big a blessing as they were to us.
Our annual BIO Training School has been scheduled for June 28-30. This school will have a special emphasis toward the Deaf. Pastor Bruce Kelly and Richard McMillen will be our special guests. Brother Kelly is the pastor of Deaf Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA. Richard McMillen is a former CPA and the founder of Pulpit & Pew Finances.

Missionaries to the Far East
God’s mercies truly are abundant in our lives although we tend to overlook them. We are so thankful for His goodness to us and His love for us every day. In these last few months, God has provided new supporters and new prayer warriors in our ministry. We have also been able to book five missions conferences in the next few months, which we are extremely excited to serve in. Please pray for our travels and pray that we would be able to be a blessing to those God allows us to come in contact with.
We thank you for all of your prayers and would like to request a few more. We are planning to leave for the field in June and, with only about three months left, we have much to do. Please pray as we will be starting the process for Audrey’s passport and applying for visas. Also, we are looking at plane tickets and are praying for reasonably priced ones which also will not be too long in layover times. The school also needs another teacher for next school year. Please pray that God will send us the right one for the ministry.
