Merry Christmas from South Africa

From Chris & Lucinda Radebaugh

Merry Christmas! Many of you receiving this are experiencing the white snow that brings with it the nostalgic feelings of childhood. We miss the snow for Christmas. We’ve spent most Christmases outside of the US, away from family. It is a bittersweet time of year.

Lucinda’s ministry continues to bless the lives of young women through Biblical counsel and encouragement. We have a school for the Deaf in Pretoria that is interested in allowing her time during the week to talk to young ladies of the school in 2017. Be in prayer as pregnancy without marriage and abortion are at very high rates here.

The works in Zimbabwe and Lesotho are doing well. Lesotho has presented challenges in that the Deaf are more closed to the Gospel. One of our upcoming graduates feels called to missions there. He and his future wife will do a good work alongside the missionaries we already have there. We currently have two missionaries sent from the church there.

Merry Christmas to You!

We praise the Lord often for the ministry that He has given us around the world. That ministry is possible because of your prayers and faithful support! Thank you for your partnership! Thank you for your faithfulness! We thank God for you! We here at the BIO office wish you and yours a very merry Christmas!

Newly Approved Missionaries

From John Yingling

Joe and Michele Parrock have been approved as missionaries to Costa Rica and Panama. I have known the Parrock family since the early nineties. They were colleagues of mine as missionaries sent out of Roanoke Baptist Church in Roanoke, IN. Brother Parrock is a graduate of Midwestern. Michele grew up at Milford under Dr. Charles Keen until she and her family moved to Roanoke, IN.

Joe and Michele have been faithful missionaries for almost thirty years. They planted a church in Costa Rica that continues to this day. They have pioneered works in Panama as well. Later they planted Spanish works in the US. Joe is currently the Spanish pastor at Shawnee Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. Please pray for them as they transition back to the foreign field.

Joe and Michele will be a blessing to any church! They will encourage your people in missions, in particular, the Spanish speaking world. Contact them today.
