A Missionary serving in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico
On Tuesday, September the 16th, a special service celebrating Independence Day here in Mexico was held on the camp grounds. Bro. Diego Flores brought the message of “Responding to the Call.” That night we had an attendance of 120, and there was a good fellowship time with all. The ladies did an excellent job in bringing food that had the flag colors, green, white and red. We had a special prize for those who brought the best looking food. They all enjoyed this time, and we thank the Lord for the time we had with all the churches and missions. Also on this night the mother of the two children from the mission in Tekit, who have been coming to Sunday School, came to this special service and for the first time heard the Gospel. There were also other visitors that came, and we ask you to pray with us for another opportunity to share the Gospel with them in their homes.
As I type volunteers from Faith Baptist Church are helping Brother Terry Childers work on the BIO Training Center. It is coming along nicely. If you are in the area and want to lend a helping hand we would greatly appreciate any assistance offered.
Another way you could help is by underwriting or donating one or more pieces of electronic equipment. Thank you so much for your consideration, prayers and support!

The World is at Our Doorstep
Missionaries James & Karen Howard
Most people do not think of Canada as a mission field; however, the world has come to our northern neighbor. In the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) where James and Karen Howard labor half of the population is foreign born. Close to 65% of the city’s six million people speak an immigrant language. More than 150 languages are spoken in the GTA! Truly, the world is at our doorstep.
James and Karen will be in the United States for just a couple of months in order to raise some much needed support. Please consider having them in your church. Many unreached peoples can be reached through the Howards in Toronto!
