Missionaries to Canada

Proclaiming Christ for Canada is far more than a catchy phrase we use to speak of our ministry. It may be found on our letterhead, prayer cards, and even on our website — ChristforCanada.org, but it also tells of our purpose and calling. It has always remained consistent.

In December, our family alone took the message of Christ to over 700 homes. We would love always to see kindness (a particular case of extreme anger won’t soon be forgotten) and of course more results, but in reception or rejection our representation is always of Christ.

People have a variety of unique hardships, but needs of people are basic everywhere at their core — spiritual, emotional, or physical. Our conviction is Christ alone is the answer for each issue of life. We can not promise healing or removal of suffering and turmoil, but our desire is to show the love of God found in Jesus Christ and hopefully bear a part of their burden along the way. In all areas, we desire souls to be saved and existing Christians to be able to glorify God in their life. PRAY FOR US!

Happy New Year!

We wish you a very blessed new year. Thank you for the opportunity to labor together with you. Recently at our interoffice prayer and planning meeting we reviewed all of the ministries and missionaries that are associated with BIO. We praise the Lord that currently we serve 57 missionary families. This works out to 107 missionaries ministering in 23 different countries. We praise the Lord for this. We are praying that the Lord would lead three more families to associate themselves with BIO in 2016. Currently we need missionaries in Botswana, China, and in Zambia. Thank you for praying with us.

Missionaries Berhanu & Wubit

The Lord is doing marvelous things in the country of Ethiopia. Berhanu Yoseph is being used of the Lord in a mighty way. Hundreds of national workers are being trained while indigenous churches are being awakened to participate in a church planting movement throughout East Africa. Most East African countries are predominately Muslim and resistant to the Gospel.

Berhanu and Wubit will be in the States from February through May of this year. They still have some open dates in their schedule. If you would like them to present their ministry in your church please contact John Yingling at the BIO office.
