Bizuayehu Assefa – December 2015 Prayer Letter

This letter was written by BIO missionary Bizuayehu Assefa

Deaf Pastor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Dear Friends,
Calvary greetings to you and to all your dear family and friends in the most holy name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hoping that you all are doing fine. Praise to His name.

Thank you very much for your daily prayer for the Gospel ministry among the Deaf. Because of your support and prayers the Deaf are able to hear the living Word of God and souls are saved. God bless you. Please continue to remember us in your prayers.

I am asking you to pray for the rented house we use for our Bible studies and worship. We have been trying to find another house for our worshiping place but it is hard to find. The owners of houses were not willing to rent a house for believers. But we are still praying over the needs every day. Now the landlord at the house we are using for our Gospel work is asking us to pay him 7,500 birr (about $350 US) every month to continue to use the house. We ask you to pray for the money for the payment.

BIO President Garvin Dykes and his wife recently visited with Bizuayehu Assefa and family.

We are always thankful to God for His great love to His children. The ministry in Nazareth and Wonji towns are going well. Praise to His mighty name.

Praise the Lord that Dr. Garvin and Mrs. Faye Dykes had a great time here in Ethiopia. I thank God for letting them come and spend time with us and that they were a blessing to us also. May God bless them more.

Dear brethren, on January 3, 2016, we will have a special Christmas celebration program all day. The Deaf from Nazareth and Wonji town and from surrounding areas of Addis Ababa will come and participate in the meeting. We will have a special spiritual program on that day. Please pray for more new souls to come and to know the Lord Jesus Christ who came to the world in order to save us from all our sins and to give life.

Pray for our needs for the expenses of this special program.

Pray also for our country Ethiopia. As you may have heard there is no peace in some regions and universities. There is also a famine in some areas. May God visit us all.

Thank you all for your prayers and every concern you have for us all and for the ministry as we are serving our loving Master and Lord.
May God Bless you all.

Wishing you a very blessed Christmas season.

Sincerely, yours in Christ,

Pastor Bizuayehu Assefa
