New applicants should review the full application process before beginning so that the pre-application, doctrinal review, documentation, and candidate screening steps are clearly understood.
Approval & Candidate School
Once all application requirements are completed, candidates are invited to attend the annual Candidate School held each June. This is a required step in the approval process.
Final missionary approval is granted by the Board of Trustees, which meets in June and December. Completing your application well in advance ensures you are considered in the upcoming board review cycle.
