First Sunday in Haiti

By Joel Desir, Missionary to Haiti

For our first Sunday we had our red truck and white bus to pick up people. Not many rode them, so we thought there might be only a few people for the morning service, but the Lord blessed and surprised us. We had 80 people in the morning service and 93 for the evening service! Most of these people walked to the church. At least 23 people were saved! For the last three weeks we have averaged over 100 in the Sunday services and 22 additionally have been saved.

We Wish You A Blessed Year!

By John Yingling

Last year four million dollars came through BIO for the work of missions around the world. Tens of thousands of John & Romans and Gospel tracts have been distributed. Hearing and Deaf souls have been saved literally around the world. New churches have been started in Chile, Ethiopia, Haiti, Nigeria, Philippines, South Sudan, Tanzania, Venezuela, and Zambia. Some of the more exciting stories have come from the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, Egypt and South Sudan. We praise God for what He has done together with you through BIO.

We look forward to another great year with even more souls saved. We expect the opening of another school for the Deaf in Zambia and anticipate new church plants among several different people groups. We wish you a blessed year! Our focus is Helping You Fulfill the Great Commission in 2019! Let us know how we can assist in what God is doing through you!

Worthy of Support!

By John Yingling

It has been a thrill to participate with Go Deaf Missions. The team is made up of John and Tricia Olson along with Paul Mosley and Anna Gilkey. Paul is a BIO missionary and currently on deputation. He is a fine young man and a valuable team member. He is worthy of support! Would you consider supporting him?

Go Deaf Missions

Recently Paul wrote this: “As you are lifting your brothers and sisters in Christ up in prayer, please remember the Go Deaf Missions team and me. The Go Deaf Missions team will be traveling to Peru this March and April. Please pray for the team’s safety, protection, and health. Please pray for our team leader, Bro. John Olson, as he preaches at a deaf camp in Cusco, Peru. Pray for Mrs. Tricia Olson and the other team members as they minister to the Peruvian people. I’m unfortunately not going to be with the team in Peru because I need to focus on raising my support. As for me, I humbly ask for courage to call pastors to set up meetings and boldness to share my burden with churches that I visit. I also need God’s help in preaching because I will be preaching at a couple of churches at the end of January and February this year. Thank you so much for praying for me! May the Lord our God bless you and lead you this year.”

Please contact Paul Mosley for more information or to schedule a meeting with him while he is on deputation.
